How to Build a Blanket Fort

(and escape midterms)

Welcome to the classic mid-semester slump. Exams are rampant, everyone is exhausted, and all we want is spring break. The right thing to do is push through, study hard, and pat yourself on the back once you're done. In between all that studying, though, you gotta treat yo' self. Sit back, relax, and build yourself a blanket fort so you can feel like a kid again.

First things first, gather your materials. You'll need:

After you've gathered everything, it's time to assemble! There's no real science to it - just have fun. Connect your blankets to the stools and prop up to your desired height. We used a rod to raise our roof, but you can just add in a taller piece of furniture or even add a command hook to your wall!

(Tip: lofted dorm beds provide the perfect set up for a blanket fort. Drape your blanket from the edge of your bed to the ground and camp out underneath.)

The most important step now is to enjoy yourself! Studying is a super important part of college, but don't forget to relax and take a break. Invite some friends over, watch a movie on Netflix, and get back to butt kickin' tomorrow.
