We are a not-for-profit supporting UT Student Success
Why work at The Co-op?
The University Co-op is an independent bookstore and the largest Longhorn retailer; but we’re more than just a store.
As a not-for-profit, 100% of the profits from our retail business have benefited the students, faculty and staff at the University of Texas at Austin through funding, sponsorships, academic awards, and internship programs.
The Co-op is a proud partner of UT's Longhorn Center for Academic Equity. Learn more about the LCAE Internship program here.

Applications for the program open at the beginning of each fall semester and interested candidates are welcome to attend info sessions during the fall semester and can apply before December. Watch our employment openings and social media for the internship application.
